Konkan Railway to Run Special Chennai Central – Madgaon Summer Train

Mangaluru: Konkan Railway has decided to run summer special train on special fare on Konkan Railway Route in co-ordination with Southern Railway to clear extra rush of passengers in the current sumer season.
Train Number 06055 / 06056 Chennai Central – Madgaon – Chennai Central Weekly Special
Train number 06055 Chennai Central – Madgaon weekly special on special fare will leave from Chennai Central at 17:30 hours on every Tuesday from April 04 to June 06, 2017. The train will reach Madgaon at 16.00 hours on the next day.
Train number 06056 Madgaon – Chennai Central weekly special on special fare will leave from Madgaon at 17.15 hours on every Wednesday (April 05 to June 7, 2017 ). Train will reach Chennai Central at 15:35 hours on the next day.
The train will halt at Perambur, Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Shoranur, Kozhikkode, Kannur, Kasaragod, Mangalore Junction, Thokur, Suratkal, Mulki, Udupi, Kundapura, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Kumta, Ankola and Karwar stations. The train will have total 18 coaches including AC 3 Tier- 01coach, sleeper- 09 coaches, general- 06 coaches and SLR- 02 coaches.
