Koratagere: A minor girl was raped by a man on the pretext of marriage in Koratagere, Tumkur.
The accused has been identified as Puttananja, a resident of Kadaranahalli village in Gauribidanur taluk.
It is said that the accused contacted the minor who was his friend’s sister by phone and asked her to be his girlfriend. He then promised to marry her and started sexually exploiting her.
However, he later got married to another girl following which a complaint was filed against him.
