Kota: 32-year-old killed in hit-and-run case

Kota: A 32-year-old man died in a hit-and-run road accident at Kavadi here on the evening of June 23.
The deceased has been identified as Nagesh Acharya, a resident of Hairady near Barkur.
According to sources, the accident took place while Nagesh was returning home from the private cashew nut factory where he worked as a supervisor.
He was found injured near Kavadi bridge by an acquaintance and was taken to a private hospital at Brahmavara. However, he was declared brought dead by doctors at the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle involved fled from the spot without attending to the injured person.
A case has been registered at the Kota police station in this regard. A search is underway to trace the culprit.
Meanwhile, Nagesh’s family is devastated by his untimely demise. He was the only child of his parents and was a mainstay of the family. He is survived by his parents, wife, and a 3-month-old girl child.
