K’taka COVID-19 Update: 7330 new cases; 7626 discharges; 93 deaths

Bengaluru: 7,330 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported across the State on August 21 raising the cumulative total to 2,71,876.
In the same day, 7,626 people were discharged after recovey and 93 infected people died.
Presently, active COVID-19 cases stands at 82,677 out of which 727 are admitted in Intensive Care Units.
Total COVID-19 deaths due to the virus has increased to 4,615.
Bengaluru Urban district reproted 2,979 cases keeping its record as the highest COVID-19 contributor district in the State.
Other districts cases are: Bagalkot (138), Bellary (533), Belgaum (312), Bengaluru Rural (66), Bidar (82), Chamarajanagar (67), Chikkaballapur (79), Chikkamagalur (71) Chitradurga (89), Dakshina Kannada (228), Davanagere (277), Dharwad (253), Gadag (116), Hassan (209), Haveri (141), Kalaburugi (165), Kodagu (24), Kolar (69), Koppal (170), Mandya (146), Mysuru (00), Raichur (52), Ramanagara (54), Shimoga (221), Tumkur (103), Udupi (348), Uttara Kannada (64) and Vijayapura (64).
