Savadi has been given a ticket to contest from the Athani constituency.
Other major candidates on the list include Ashok Kumar Rai, who has been selected to run for the Puttur constituency, which has generated interest in the coastal region.
Uday Kumar Shetty has been nominated for the Karkala constituency, while John Richard Lobo has been given a ticket for Mangaluru South.
