Kundapura: Sample collection kiosks opened

Kundapura: 15 sample collection kiosks were inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha at the office of Taluk Health Officer here on June 19.

The kiosks were provided by Selco Foundation.

Speaking at the occasion, Jagadeesha stated that Kundapura received acclaim throughout the State for introducing mobile sample collection centres, for this Dr Nagabhushana Udupa must be congratulated. Kundapur and Byndoor have seen the highest number of positive cases at 755. The physicians who are handling these thousands of cases are real Corona Warriors who are working day and night.

He further added that the Kundapura taluk hospital will continue to be a COVID-19 hospital. The number of ventilators will be increased and oxygen equipment will be brought to the hospital.

AC K. Raju, Taluk Health Officer Dr Nagabhushan Udupa, Taluk Hospital’s Chief Surgeon Dr Robert Rebello, Physician Dr Nagesh and Assistant General Manager of Selco Guruprasad Shetty were present.
