Lady constable attacked by lady bus conductor

Puttur: In a shocking incident, a lady constable was attacked by a KSRTC lady conductor on Sunday night.

It has been reported that, a lady conductor of KSRTC Rajahamsa bus assaulted a lady police constable on the February 18.

The victim has been identified as Arpita. The lady constable received treatment from Vittal community hospital.

Case has been booked against Pushpa from Hassan in this case.

Eye witness claim that, Pushpa started screaming as to who is going to pay the toll charges if the bus warrant seats are given to the lady constables. Even the communication held by the station officer of Vittal police station, Nagaraj, with the ticker checker of KSRTC bus station did not yield any positive result. Shortly after this discussion, when the police tried to intervene, the lady conductor got furious and attacked lady constable Arpita.
