Man absconds after cheating several from Kadaba Taluk

Kadaba: A complaint has been filed against a man from Mysuru working as a cook in one of the hotels in Kadaba for cheating several persons in the Taluk.
The accused identified as Sharath Babu (30) is a resident of Haranahalli of Mysuru. He working as a cook in one of the hotels in the Taluk.
Within two months, the accused befriended many from the town and borrowed cash from them. It is said that he would borrow money on the pretext of procuring rice from Mysuru or even promising them employment. Some claim that Sharath borrowed money from them promising to return the next day.
He went missing on Monday, August 23, and a complaint was filed against him. The victims also visited Sharath’s house in Mysuru but his father said that he had left home nine years ago.
Police officials are on the lookout for the accused.
