Man arrested for raping a divorcee

Bengaluru: A 29-year-old software engineer has been arrested for raping and cheating a 39-year-old divorcee woman who was looking to remarry.

The accused has been identified as Nagarjun, a resident of Marathahalli. Nagrjun is married and has a year-old baby. The victim was divorced and was looking for remarriage through a matrimonial website. Nagaraj had also set up a profile in the same website.  Nagarjun sent her a request and proposal. The two started to talk to each other and got close. Nagarjun had also met her many times and had physically involved with her.

In the mean time the woman got to know about Nagarjun’s marital status. She filed a complaint at the Marathahalli police station. Nagarjun was arrested on Tuesday.
