Man convicted for rape and murder

Kundapur: A man has been convicted for rape and murder of a pregnant woman here over three years ago.
Kundapur district court will pronounce the sentence on February 20.
It may be recalled that, Prashanth Mogaveera, had come to the victim’s house at Moodugopadi on April 11, 2015 and had raped and brutally murdered her.
Kundapur police, who saw him fleeing with blood soaked clothes, had arrested him. As he had raped and killed the woman in the most inhuman way, the court had rejected bail for him.
