Mandya: Four killed in car-bus collision

Mandya: Four persons were killed in a car-bus collision that occurred on the Bengaluru-Mangaluru highway in Nagamangala taluk here.

The deceased have been identified as Namitha, a resident of Bengaluru, Vanshikrishna, and Pankaj Sharma, hailing from Rajasthan, and Raghunath B, a resident of Dharwad.

The “speeding” Swift car rear-ended the bus near Bellur Cross. Four occupants in the car were killed due to the impact of the collision and the car was totally damaged.

Bellur police arrived at the spot and conducted an investigation. The bodies of the deceased were sent to the local hospital.
