Mangalore University ranks 1st in State, 12th nationally

Mangaluru: A recent survey published in India Today ranks Mangalore University as 1st in the State and 12th in the country among India’s best Government Universities. Thus Mangalore University has gone well ahead of many premier Universities in India.
The ranking is based on the criteria including reputation and Governance, Academic and Research Excellence, Infrastructure facility and living Experience, Personality and leadership Development, Career progression and placement. In the Overall score, Mangaluru University scored 1419 points out of 2000. Mangalore University has scored good points in the categories of reputation and Governance, Academic and Research Excellence and Infrastructures facilities
In December 2017 Mangalore University bagged 3rd rank at the national level by UI Green Metric World Ranking for its green initiatives and eco-friendly policies. Mangalore University is at 231st position at the global level amongst 619 universities representing more than 100 countries and 3rd position amongst the 24 universities that participated from India, as per the survey.
