Mangaluru: 2 arrested for betting

Mangaluru: The Bunder police station personnel on Thursday, October 1 arrested 2 people for betting on cricket matches.

The arrested, identified as Hariprasad and Shashidhar, were arrested from Venkatesh Bhavan Lodge on PM Road here.

Rs 1.2 lakh in cash, one television set and six mobile phones were seized from the two.

The betting activity was being conducted through a betting app.

Five others part of the betting ring escaped.
