Mangaluru: DC Rajendra warns officials on missing signages and signals on NH

Mangaluru: At the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee held on February 22, Deputy Commissioner Dr Rajenra warned officials over the issue of missing road sign boards and traffic signals on highways.
After the issue was raised by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel in the meeting, the DC said that the responsible officials will be held accountable under the Motor Vehicle Act if any road accidents occur.
He ordered the officials to install the signboards and traffic signals before the advent of monsoons and attend the Road Safety Committee meeting.
