Mangaluru: Four held for planning to loot businessmen of city

Mangaluru: Police officials on Friday arrested four people for allegedly planning to loot wealthy businessmen of the city.
The arrested accused have been identified as Anish Ashraf Maya (24), a resident of Kudroli, Sheikh Mohammed Harris Jigar (32) a resident of Bhatrekere Bajpe, Mohammed Kais (26) a resident of Kasba Bengre and Mohammed Kamil (33) a resident of Kudroli. The accused are rowdy sheeters.
The accused had allegedly gathered at a vacant yard behind Mohiuddin Mosque on Friday afternoon. Police officials raided the spot and arrested four persons. Two more accused are absconding.
Medical examination of the accused revealed that they had consumed drugs.
Further investigations are underway.
