Mangaluru graffiti case: Accused received directions from abroad

Mangaluru: The police probing the case of pro-Lashkar-e-Taiba writings on the walls at Bejai and near the court here, have found out that a person from abroad had directed the accused to create the graffiti.

It is gathered that a person from abroad used to contact the main accused in the case, Mohammed Shaarik, a resident of Thirthahalli district is and directed him to draw anti-national graffiti to win state-wide attention and create a movement.

After receiving the command, Shaarik searched online for activities which suit him the best, he then decided on graffiti and executed the plan.

Sources revealed that the person who issued directions and members involved with this incident are members of a WhatsApp group with its admin at Pune.

The police have so far arrested three people in connection with this case.
