Mangaluru: King cobra on the loose causes panic at Pilikula Biological Park, rescued

A huge king cobra broke free from its enclosure at the Pilikula Biological Park (Dr.Shivarama Karantha Pilikula Nisargadhama) on Friday, causing panic among visitors and staff.
The serpent slithered beyond the confines of the park, crossing a nearby road and making its way towards the science centre.
The staff of Biological Park safely rescued the reptile and returned it to the King Cobra Breeding Center at the park.
