Mangaluru: K’taka Jan Samvad Rally viewed across district

Mangaluru: On completion of one year of the Narendra Modi-led BJP government, the state unit had organised the Karnataka Jan Samvad Rally viewed across the district by BJP workers.
The virtual rally that started at 6 pm, was addressed by BJP president J P Nadda via video conference, explaining the achievements of the Modi government.
CM B S Yeddiyurappa was the chief guest. State BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel presided over the function.
The inauguration of the virtual rally at the Mangalore BJP office was done by Kota Srinivasa Poojary, the district in-charge minister. He inaugurated the rally by garlanding a portrait of Mother India.
Speaking on the occasion, Poojary said, J P Nadda’s speech has been viewed by millions in the district. Modi has launched a new era of development in the country and is a world leader with phenomenal achievements. The handling of the coronavirus situation in the country has been praised internationally.
BJP workers and activists watched the rally at the 1,861 booth-level offices in the district on LED screens, mobile phones and social networking websites.
Legislator Vedvyas Kamath, district BJP president Sudarshan Moodabidri, Zilla Panchayat Vice President Kasturi Panj, Moda President Ravi Shankar Mijar, former members of Vidhan Parishad Monappa Bhandari, Balakrishna Bhat and others were also present in the rally.
