Mangaluru: Man dies after being run over by truck

Mangaluru: In a ghastly accident, a truck rammed into a middle-aged man crossing the road at Kottara Chowky, killing him on the spot, on Wednesday, October 26.

Ashok (45), a resident of Akash Bhavan was run over by the truck, police said.

Ashok had parked his two-wheeler and was crossing the road when the truck rammed into him. He was rushed to a hospital but was declared brought dead.

Meanwhile, Mangaluru North Traffic police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
