Mangaluru: ‘Pavitra Mannu’ campaign for ‘Statue of Propserity’ flagged off

Mangaluru: The “Pavitra Mannu”, a sacred soil collection campaign for the ‘Nadaprabhu’ Kempegowda Theme Park and 108 feet high “Statue of Prosperity” at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), Bengaluru, was flagged off here, on Wednesday, October 26.
The campaign was flagged off at Mangala Stadium Swimming Pool campus by District In-charge and Kannada and Culture Minister Sunil Kumar.
MP and BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel, legislators Vedavyas Kamath, Dr. Bharath Shetty, Pratap Simha Nayak, Sanjeev Matandoor, Mayor Jayanand Anchan, Deputy Mayor Poornima, Sri Dharmapalanatha Swamiji of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mutt, Mangaluru branch, Chairman of Coastal Development Authority Mattaru Ratnakar Hegde and others were present.
