Mangaluru: Permission granted for ‘Hulivesha’ performances on Navratri

Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district administration decided to allow ex-voto Hulivesha performances during the upcoming Navaratri festival.
Guidelines were decided by the administration for the performances such as no more than 10 performers to perform in a group and performances to be conducted within temples only.
The district administration also stated that strict action will be taken if performers are found consuming liquor or performing under its influence.
