Ullal: Naguri traffic police officials here seized a car and arrested its driver after a video emerged showing the car blocking the way of an ambulance.
The arrested has been identified as Charan Raj (28) a resident of Kotekaru.
The incident occurred on July 19 when a patient was being carried in an ambulance to a hospital in Mangaluru from another hospital in Kanachuru.
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga car driven by Raj did not give way to the ambulance and blocked the ambulance’s way for some time.
The ambulance crew made a video of the car blocking which soon went viral.
During the investigation, the police found that the accused had earphones on.
