Manipal University Convocation to Begin from Nov 18; 3779 Students to Get Degrees

Manipal: The 25th convocation ceremony of Manipal University will be held on November 18, 19 and 25, 2017 at KMC Greens here in Manipal. A total of 3779 under and post graduates, PhD and super specialty students will receive their degrees on the three days.

Another 701 have expressed their inability to attend the function on any of the three days. On the occasion, 13 gold medal winners will be honored.Elaborate arrangements are being made to host close to 5,000 students and parents on each day.   

The convocation will begin at 4.30 PM every day and the list of chief guests include, Anand Sudarshan, founder and director, Sylvant Advisors for the first day of the convocation followed by Sandeep Kumar Maini, Chairman, Maini Group, Bengaluru for the second day and Dr Ashok Jhunjhunwala, Principal Advisor, Union Ministry of Power, New and Renewable Energy, New Delhi for the concluding day.
