MDNL launches NFTs of Expressive Einstein

Manipal Digital Network Limited is foraying into a new digital era by launching NFTs (Non-fungible tokens).

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are buy-and-sellable digital certificates of ownership of a piece of the digital asset.

These exclusive digital artworks launched by MDNL under Manipal_Digital_Labs can be purchased with cryptocurrency.

NFTs have exploded in popularity  and many regard them as the future of digital art acquisition and trading, at least for the time being. For collectors who believe this, the rising prices are nothing compared to what NFTs will be worth in the future, once the rest of the world realises their potential.

The year 2021 has witnessed a tremendous increase in interest in NFTs, with Google searches for the term reaching all-time highs and NFT marketplaces like Nifty Gateway and OpenSea registering record trade volumes as everyone tries to learn more about this new asset class.

But it isn’t just the level of curiosity that is rising. Individual NFTs are fetching astronomical prices, with artists such as Beeple making headlines for shattering sales records. With this in mind, we examine some of the most exorbitantly priced NFTs ever sold.

Beeple’s Human One sold for $29 million at a Christies auction. Punk #7523, one of the few ‘Alien’ figures in the collection, was part of the prominent auction house, Sotheby’s, and sold for 11.7 million dollars, topping the list of CryptoPunks who have a large active participation among the most spectacular sales of the year for NFTs.

Indians watched their favourite celebrities create their own digital collections in 2021, the year we are set to say our final goodbyes, and were quick to invest in them. The desire to hold some rare tokens of some of the country’s biggest celebrities, as well as the promising nature of NFTs in the market, drove this. Celebrities from many walks of life have released or announced the introduction of their digital tokens in 2021, ranging from Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Kamal Haasan to Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, and Manish Malhotra.

With changing times in mind, we have launched NFTs depicting renowned scientist Albert Einstein. These NFTs are available on Open Sea, world’s first and largest NFT marketplace.

Open Sea is also responsible for Saudi princess Reem Al Faisal’s NFT collection.

The NFTs launched by Manipal_Lab_Works include hand-drawn collection of the genius Albert Einstein by an artist with experience of over 35 years in the art space, Mr. James Waz.  Every element in this collection is hand-drawn and digitally regenerated into a collection of 100 exclusive collectible pieces of art.

For further information, head over to https://opensea.io/collection/expressiveeinstein and stake your claim on one of the art pieces.
