Miraculous escape for passengers after Kerala SRTC bus rams into signboard

Hunsur: Passengers onboard a Kerala Road Transport Corporation bus, traveling from Kannur to Bengaluru escaped with minor injuries after the bus met with an accident around 3.30 am on Wednesday near Arasu Putthali (Statue) on the national highway here.

The bus reportedly rammed into a signboard erected by the police department while avoiding a collision with an oncoming vehicle. Less visibility due to foggy conditions also led to the mishap, it is said.

The front portion of the bus was damaged in the mishap.

A case has been registered in this regard. Police reached the spot and removed the bus from the spot facilitating smooth traffic movement.
