Miscreants smash windowpane of parked car, steal Rs 15 lakh

Mangaluru: In a case of broad daylight theft reported from Chilimbi in the city, unidentified miscreants allegedly smashed the windowpane of a car and robbed Rs 15 lakh in cash.
The Hyundai i10 car was parked outside South Indian Bank’s Chilimbi branch and its owner had reportedly gone inside the bank when the thieves struck.
Police visited the spot and begun investigation.
