Mangaluru: In a suspected casse of suicide, the dead body of a missing man was recovered from a lake located in a rubber plantation in Belthangady taluk here.
The deceased identified as Shashidhar Poojary, 39, had gone missing on May 15.
He was the owner of Southadka Wood Industries, a furniture outlet and had reportedly taken a loan for business purpose.
Police suspect that he may have committed suicide as he was unable to repay the loan.
Belthangady police have registered a case of suicide and further investigations are on.
