Missing dog returns home after ten years

Pennsylvania: A dog is said to often return back home safely soon after wandering away. But in the case of Abby it was different.

This black Labrador took 10 years to turn back home. Debra Suierveld’s dog Abby went missing in the year 2008. The family was heartbroken and did everything to find her. The family couldn’t find Abby and assumed that she was gone forever.

Ten years later, Abby who had turned 12 year-old turned up on George Speiring’s front porch in Apollo, Pennsylvania. George took Abby to the Animal Protectors of Alleghany Valley organisation. Her micro chip was scanned and her owner was traced. They immediately contacted Debra.

However, the family has a bizarre theory about where Abby had been for the last 10 years. The family believes that where ever Abby was, she was taken good care. She looks like a healthy and happy dog.

Meanwhile, the family is over whelmed to hear the news of Abby retuning back home. They are now planning for a grand welcome home party for Abby.
