Mangaluru: A scooter was reportedly stolen within 15 minutes of parking it in the city.
Rins Mon Xavier of Kasargod has complained about the theft to the Manglauru North Police Station.
Xavier worked for a shop that deals in auto spares in the city. On January 7, at around 11.30 am, he parked his scooter in front of a hotel near Jyothi Circle and was waiting for a bus to deliver a parcel for a garage in Karkala.
To his shock, when he returned to the parking spot at 11:45 am, his scooter was missing. A little farther away a man was seen riding his scooter.
A case has been registered at Mangalore North Police Station.
