Moodbidri: 15-year-old girl succumbs to brain fever

Moodbidri: A 15-year-old girl died at a private hospital in Mangaluru on Sunday, reportedly due to complications related to brain fever.
The deceased has been identified as Swasthi Shetty (15), a class 10 student of Shirtadi Mount Carmel High School.
Sources close to her family said that Swati was a throwball player and also a good dancer. Father Satish Shetty is employed in Goa and mother Sarita Shetty is employed in Shirtadi Navamaitri Multipurpose Cooperative. Originally from Valpadi, the family currently resides in Moodbidiri.
