MP spy racket case: 1 more held in Delhi

New Delhi: A 62-year-old man has been arrested from Delhi in connection with the spy racket busted by the Madhya Pradesh ATS.
In a joint operation conducted by Madhya Pradesh ATS and Delhi Police’s Special Cell, Abdul Jabbar was arrested from his office at Basir Guest House, in Urdu Bazar in Jama Masjid area here last evening, said a senior police officer.
A case under sections 122 (Collecting arms, etc., with intention of waging war against the Government of India), 123 (Concealing with intent to facilitate design to wage war) of IPC and Section 3, 6 Indian Telegraph Act 1933 was registered by the Madhya Pradesh ATS, he said.
MP Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) had arrested the 11 people on February 9 after the arrest of Satvinder Singh and Dadu along the R S Pura sector on the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir for sharing secret information of strategic establishments to their overseas handlers in November last year.
The 11 accused have been charged for passing on crucial information of vital installations in Madhya Pradesh to their overseas handlers.
The two had reportedly revealed that they were gathering secret information regarding the locations of the Army and other security forces, and sharing the same with Pakistan on a social networking app.
