Mulki-Moodbidri: 30-km long Tiranga yatra concludes

Moodbidri: Tiranga Yatra from Mulki to Moodbidire with 100-m long national flag held as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations culminated on Sunday, August 14.
The event was organised by the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Tiranga Yatra Abhiyaan Samiti of the BJP Mulki-Moodbidire Mandal.
MLA Umanatha Kotyan said, “The 30 km long rally with a 100-m national flag was a huge success. The Tiranga Yatra began from Mulki, the hometown of freedom fighter Karnadu Sadashiva Raya at 8 am and reached Moodubidri, the hometown of India’s first freedom fighter Veer Rani Abbakka, at 6.30 pm. “
District BJP President Sudarshan M. said that India is blessed with abundant resources, and is at the forefront in all fields such as religion, culture, art, science and education.
BJP District Secretary Kasturi Panja, Vice President Ishwar Kateel, Spokesperson Jagdish Shenava and others were present.
