Kota: An Udupi-based Muslim family offered the Tulabhara Seve at the Amruteshwari temple here.
The video of the burqa-clad woman sitting on the large scales with her son immediately went viral.
An elder in the family had wished an ex-voto from the goddess and hence were offering the Seve.
The video, shot and posted by a local resident, received immense praise, especially for the family’s religious tolerance.
Speaking about it, a member from the temple’s management said that rituals and offerings are performed here without any discrimination. Earlier too a non-Hindu had offered a Yakshagana performance. Therefore, there is nothing special about this.
