Nejar murder case: Court further extends accused Chowgale’s judicial custody

Udupi: The Chief Civil Judge of Udupi and the JMFC Court on Monday extended the judicial custody of Praveen Chowgale, the accused in the murder case of four persons in Nejar, till December 30.
On December 5, the court had extended the judicial custody of the accused till December 18.
On Monday, police produced the accused before the judge through video conference from Parappana Agrahara Jail. The court further extended Chogale’s custody till December 30.
Senior Assistant Public Prosecutor H.M. Nadaf was present.
Meanwhile, the counsel for the accused has already moved an application for bail and the hearing will be held on December 20.
