“New Schemes for New India”: Book explaining central government’s pro-people schemes released

Bengaluru: BJP Karnataka state president Nalin Kumar Kateel released the book titled “New Schemes for New India” highlighting the pro-people schemes implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Nalin Kumar Kateel said the book will certainly extend the pro-people schemes of the central government to reach every household. It will also help make the Prime Minister’s dream of ‘Empowerment of all’ a reality.
The book has been brought out in Kannada and English after receiving inputs from Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and others. It contains the details of all the schemes including the eligibility criteria of various schemes and the application procedure.
The elements of more than 100 schemes, including Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Ujjwala, UJALA, Mudra, Skill India, Jan Aushadhi, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, Swachh Bharat, Make in India, Beti-Bachao Beti-Padhao, Digital India, Khelo among others, are explained in the book.
A unique QR code is provided for each scheme, which can be scanned with a smartphone to directly visit the respective webpage of the concerned ministry and apply or get the scheme information, the publisher said.
