Nurse Jayalakshmi joins MEP

Bengaluru: Jayalakshmi alias Nurse Jayalakshmi joined Mahila Empowerment Party (MEP) authoritatively in a ceremony at Leela Palace Hotel in the city on Friday. She was invited into the party by Dr Novera Sheik, national leader of MEP. 

After her joining Nurse Jayalakshmi addressed the journalists and stated, “I have joined the MEP party with an aim to preach on the philosophy of MEP and the works done by Dr Novera Sheik, national leader of the party to the every person. Today politics has stooped to a low level. In the coming Karnataka elections, the part of MEP will be a main factor paying little respect to any gathering shaping the the government. I will challenge from any constituency which the party relegates me.” 

Talking on the event Dr Novera Sheik stated, “We will finalize the list of our party candidates soon. We have the goal of handling capable applicants in 224 constituency. Out of the 35% will be represented by women”
