Bengaluru: After Congress leader D K Shivakumar, arrested in a money laundering case, was sent to the ED custody till September 13 by a Delhi court, the Karnataka Rashtra Samithi (KRS), a political party has registered a case against former minister KJ George in a money laundering case at the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
In their complaint, the party president Ravi Krishna Reddy accused George of holding properties in India and abroad worth millions of dollars.
The complaint also stated that his properties are situated in Manhattan and other areas in New York and former minister’s earnings are insufficient to purchase these properties, which are among the costliest real estate in the world.
