Parents allege medical negligence in 5-yr-old’s death

Puttur: Parents of a five-year-old boy, who died at a private hospital on Tuesday, April 9 have lodged a complaint against the physician and hospital staff alleging medical negligence.

The deceased, Yadish was admitted to Chethana Hospital as he had fever. “The physician administered some drugs to Yadish after which he started vomiting. Moreover child specialist Dr Sreekanth Rao did not arrive in time. When he finally arrived at 7.30 pm he declared my son dead,” alleged Harishchandra, father of Yadish.

A complaint of medical negligence was lodged with Puttur city police.
