Pejawar seer hospitalised, on ventilator support

Udupi: Shri Vishwesha Tirtha Seer of the Pejawar mutt in Udupi has been admitted to KMC hospital, Manipal after he complained of respiratory problems on Friday, December 20 early morning.
The 88-year-old pontiff being treated for extensive Pneumonia with antibiotics and supportive treatment.
“He is currently serious and connected to a ventilator,” read a statement from the hospital.
According to sources, the seer had been suffering from cold and fever for the last few days. He will be under observation for 24 hours, they added.
