Pejawar Seer meets PM; Discusses Ram temple, Ganga purification initiatives

Udupi: Pejawar Math Seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at the latter’s residence at New Delhi on Tuesday July 16. The PM came out of his residence and personally held the hands of the Swamiji and led him into the house. It is learnt that the duo held discussions on various important aspects.
The Seer informed that the interaction between the two went on from 4.30 pm to 5 pm. During the discussion, the PM extended warm welcome to him, and expressed contentment at the support extended by the people of the country to programmes he undertook during his last term. The Seer added that he conveyed to the PM that his prayers are with the PM.
“I conveyed my positive opinion about the initiatives on construction of Ram Mandir at the birthplace of Lord Ram and also the progress of Ganga purification plan. He welcomed my opinions and conveyed his wishes. I will give more information about the meeting after reaching Bengaluru,” said the Seer and added that he presented an idol of Lord Krishna coupled with aureole to the PM on the occasion.
