Police arrest five youth on murder charges

Bengaluru: Five youth were arrested in connection with a murder of a youth here near Bamboo Bazar on 31 July.
The Kalasipalya police arrested five men from the city on murder charges.
The accused have been identified as Mudassir alias Chota Panda (24), a resident of Valmiki Nagar, Sultan Pasha (24) and Mazhar Khan (27), both residents of Chandra Layout, Nayeem Pasha alias Pintu (23), a resident of Halaguddadahalli and Mohammed Muzammil alias Mujju (20), a resident of Shamanna Garden on Mysuru Road. They had killed Ameen, an employee of a hardware shop.
After police interrogation, the accused confessed of the murder due to an old rivalry. The accused revealed that, Ameen had last year assaulted their friend Haroon. Since then, the accused were plotting a plan to kill him.
On Tuesday night when the accused spotted the victim, Ameen stepping out of the shop, they attacked him multiple times with machetes.
