Police personnel deployed before Parappana Agrahara jail as VK Sasikala moves towards Bengaluru

Bengaluru: More than 100 police personnel have been deployed at Parappana Agrahara jail in Bengaluru to ensure the safety in the area and jail as general secretary of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) VK Sasikala is expected to be lodged in the jail to complete her four year jail term as Supreme Court found her guilty in illegally acquiring movable and immovable properties worth over 60 crores in 1990s in a criminal conspiracy with former Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa. 

VK Sasikala initially is expected to surrender herself before the sessions court here in Bengaluru. Subsequently, she is very likely to move into Parappana Agrahara jail. For the time being, she is moving towards Karnataka state capital and expected to produce herself before sessions court by night. Meanwhile, Sasikala has asked the jail authorities to provide 24 mineral water facility, home made food and other VIP treatment.
