Police raid uncovers illegal slaughterhouse; One arrested, two flee

The Bantwal police conducted a raid on an illicit slaughterhouse resulting in the arrest of Siddij, a resident of Kalladka Goltamajalu Madaka, while two other suspects, Nazir and Sulaiman, managed to evade arrest and are currently absconding.

The unauthorized slaughterhouse was reportedly operated in a shed behind Nazir’s residence. The police seized substantial evidence during the raid, including two quintals of beef, an Alto car, a rickshaw, a scooter used in the illegal activities.

Efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the two remaining accused, Nazir and Sulaiman.
