Mescom powermen team that left to provide assistance in Orissa

Mangaluru: Much required assistance in restoring power infrastructure in the cyclone-affected Orissa will be provided by a team do of 60 powermen from Mangalore Electricity Supply Company (Mescom) who left for Orissa on Thursday.

Mescom Managing Director R. Snehal and senior officials, including technical director N. Raghuprakash, chief finance officer D.R. Srinivas, financial advisor R.S. Jambagi, general manager Somappa Kadakola, Chief Engineer (in-charge) Manjappa and others saw the powermen off who will be working on restoring power infrastructure at Niali taluk of Cuttack district in Odisha.

The team of 60 powermen includes three team managers and one nodal officer, stated a release from the company.
