Principal booked for harassing woman staff member

Muzaffarnagar: The principal of a local college here has been booked for allegedly harassing and assaulting a woman staff member at her residence, police said today.
The incident happened on December 28 last year. The victim later lodged a complaint with the State Commission for Women saying that the principal of Sir Chitran Inter College, Naresh Pratap Singh, had entered her house where he misbehaved with her and beat her up.
On the directive of the commission, police have registered a case against Singh.
