Mangaluru: A case has been registered at Ullal police in connection to the provocative flex put up by Sangh Parivar at Ullal Bail regarding the Pulwama terror attack.

The flex, hung by Vaidyanatha Chatrapathi branch in the name of ‘Vishwa Hindu Parishad Bajrang Dal’ mentioned that minority communities have been laughing at the death of our soldiers and the enemies of our nation are living within the country and not outside. It also contained screenshots of Facebook posts from a page ‘Mangalore Muslims’.

Suspecting that these flexes had been put up to create tension in the area, few local organisations approached the police and the flexes were brought down on Sunday night itself. The Muslim organisation have also requested the police to trace those operating the Mangalore Muslims facebook page as in the past too several controversial posts had been uploaded on this page.

Meanwhile, it is not yet confirmed if the Ullala police have registered a suo moto case or on someone’s complaint.
