PSI recruitment scam: Three including police officials arrested

Bengaluru: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials on Monday arrested three people in connection with the PSI recruitment exam scam.
The arrested accused have been identified as Darshan Gowda, a resident of Murur village in Magadi, Mohan Kumar from Nelamangala, and Harish Kumar working at Kalasipalya police station.
Darshan Gowda had secured the fifth rank in the exams in October 2021.
The arrest was made after the forensic science laboratory (FSL) submitted a report confirming the tampering of OMR sheets.
The three have been remanded in judicial custody at Central Prison, Parappana Agrahara.
