Puttur: A 49-year-old woman died after a compound wall of her house collapsed due to the heavy rains in Golithottu of Puttur taluk on Tuesday, July 7 afternoon.
The deceased is identified as Vasanti, wife of a KSRTC driver.
As per the sources, the incident took place when Vasanti was rolling beedi in the backyard of her house.
