Puttur: An advocate from Puttur has allegedly been issued a traffic challan for parking her car on the main road in Mangaluru in violation of the rules.
Ashwini claimed that she received a challan on February 1 directing her to pay a penalty of Rs 1000 for a traffic offense committed by someone else on December 26 evening.
Pointing out that she owns a Ford car, Ashwini said that the photo shared in the challan as documentary proof of the offense happens to be of a Suzuki model and bears a different registration number.
However, when she raised this issue with the officials, she was told to resolve the matter by visiting Mangaluru.
