Puttur: Thieves break into jewellery shop; flee with gold and silver ornaments

Puttur: Unidentified thieves broke into city’s reputed jewellery shop and fled with lakhs worth of gold and silver ornaments in Puttur on March 25
It is said that the miscreants entered the shop by breaking the main door lock.
Also, the jewellery shop is just 50 metres away from the nearby police station
A case has been registered at the nearby police station and investigation is underway.
